We are searching for the next Canadian Badlands tourism ambassadors!

After the very successful #CBTAmbassador campaign in 2017, the Canadian Badlands are eager to continue the program for 2018.

We are searching for participants from the following four areas of the Canadian Badlands to increase the social media profile and help drive tourism to the region:

CBT-zones-UPDATED

Locals with a passion for photography and a strong sense of community would be ideal candidates to showcase the natural beauty, local events, attractions and community pride throughout this region.

The request

There are so many cool communities, off-the-beaten-path adventures and authentically western events within the Canadian Badlands region, but we need help getting the word out.

It’s easy! We’re looking for local story tellers, through imagery and video, to naturally integrate various attractions, landscapes and events within the Canadian Badlands into posts on your personal Instagram, Blogs, Twitter and/or Facebook pages.

Being a Canadian Badlands Tourism Ambassador is about telling stories, learning how to share experiences in personable ways and building an engaged community around authentic experiences in the Canadian Badlands.

What’s in it for you?

Being a Canadian Badlands Tourism Ambassadors is your ticket to adventure. The Canadian Badlands team will set you up with a variety of experiences in exchange for incorporating Canadian Badlands content (of your choosing) into your social media channels. You’ll have the chance to attend rodeos, concerts, festivals, visit museums or dine at a particular restaurant within the Canadian Badlands region. Say the word and the team will coordinate your complimentary visit in exchange for coverage.

In addition, you’ll be joined by a select number of returning ambassadors and have a chance to meet up with everyone including the programs administrators Pete Heck from Hecktic Travels and travel writer Jody Robbins.
